5. A desire to see lives transformed

Transcription

Hello! In this lesson, we will discuss why we should evangelize with a desire to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel and to help people grow in their faith and walk with God.

As Christians, we are called to share the Good News of the Gospel with others. One reason for this is because we want to see people’s lives transformed by the power of the Gospel. When someone comes to faith in Jesus, their life is changed forever. God reconciles them to Himself and gives them a new identity in Christ. As the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:17, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” When we share the Gospel with others, we are offering them the opportunity to experience this transformation for themselves.

Another reason we should evangelize is to help people grow in their faith and walk with God. When someone comes to faith in Jesus, it is just the beginning of their journey with Him. They will face challenges and obstacles along the way. As believers, we have a responsibility to guide and support them as they navigate through these challenges. We can offer encouragement, pray for them, and provide them with resources to help them grow in their faith.

In addition to guiding and supporting new believers, we can also learn from them. Each person has a unique story and perspective that can enrich our own faith journey. As we invest in the lives of others, we can gain a deeper understanding of God’s love and grace.

So, why should we evangelize? Because we want to see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel, and we want to help people grow in their faith and walk with God. Let’s commit to sharing the Good News with others and investing in their lives for the glory of God.
