Hello! In this video lesson, we’re going to talk about why we should evangelize out of our love for people. As believers in Jesus Christ, we are called to share the Good News of the Gospel with those who do not yet know Him. Our motivation for sharing the Gospel comes from our love for people and our desire to see them experience the life-changing power of the Gospel.
Jesus said, “‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself’” (Matthew 22:39). When we love others as ourselves, we want to help them come to a saving knowledge of Jesus, because we know that the Gospel is the only way they can receive salvation and be reconciled to God. Sharing the Gospel with others is not just a suggestion; it is at the heart of what it means to follow Jesus.
Sharing the Gospel is also a way that we can show the love of God to others. God showed His love for us by sending His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. When we share the Gospel with others, we are offering them the opportunity to experience the same love and grace that we have received from God.
When someone comes to faith in Jesus, it is a cause for celebration. They have received the gift of salvation and have been reconciled to God. As believers, we get to be a part of that joy. When we participate in sharing the Gospel and seeing people come to faith, it brings us great joy and a sense of accomplishment.
In conclusion, we should evangelize out of our love for people. When we share the Gospel with others, we are offering them the opportunity to receive the gift of salvation and to be reconciled to God. It also allows us to show the love of God to others and brings great joy to our lives when we see others come to faith.
