4. Teaching and reminding believers

Transcription

Hello and welcome to today’s lesson on how the Holy Spirit teaches and reminds believers of the things that Jesus taught. As believers, we are called to be learners and followers of Jesus, and one of the primary ways in which we do this is through the work of the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is the one who helps us to understand and apply the teachings of Jesus to our lives. He illuminates the Word of God and helps us to see its truth and relevance. He also helps us to remember what we have learned and to apply it in our daily lives.

So, how does the Holy Spirit teach and remind us of the things that Jesus taught? Let’s explore some ways:

  1. Through the reading and studying of the Bible. The Bible is the primary source of revelation from God, and when we read and study it, we open ourselves up to the teaching and reminding-work of the Holy Spirit.
  2. Through the guidance and direction of other believers. As we fellowship with other believers and seek counsel from those who are more mature in their faith, we can receive valuable guidance and direction from the Holy Spirit through them.
  3. Through the leading and guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit often communicates His will to us through a sense of peace, confirmation, or conviction, and when we are sensitive to His promptings, we can receive guidance and direction from Him in a very real and practical way.
  4. Through the circumstances and events of our lives. God often uses the circumstances and events of our lives to teach us and remind us of His truths, and when we pay attention to these things, we can receive valuable teaching and reminders from the Holy Spirit.
  5. Through the experience of personal transformation. As we seek to follow Jesus and live under His teachings, we will experience personal transformation as the Holy Spirit works in and through us, serving as a powerful reminder of the truths that Jesus taught and the power of the gospel to change lives.

So, in conclusion, the Holy Spirit is the one who teaches and reminds believers of the things that Jesus taught. As we seek to learn and follow Jesus, we can trust in the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us, to illuminate the Word of God, and to transform us from the inside out. Thank you for joining me in this lesson, and I hope it has been helpful to you.
